Q: The numerical value of the volume of a cube is twice the numerical value of the cubes surface area. What is the length of an edge of the cube, in units?
A: 12 units
If the surface area is 6x² and the volume is x³. That means x³ = 2(6x²), so x³ = 12x², which simplifies to x = 12 units.
